Start your great outdoors adventure off at the Maple Hollow Trail. Tucked away in Cape County Park North, this trail will take you through wooded hills where you can see interesting rock features and even hear the babbling of a meandering stream. Take in the sights and sounds of the colorful, crunching leaves beneath your hiking boots.

After you make your way through the trail, stop in at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Center. Learn about the rich history of our area and the natural resources that are unique to us. There are activities to engage in while you’re there, making it a true immersive experience.

By this point in the day, you’re probably ready for bite to eat. Head to our downtown area to eat at one of our many local restaurants. You’ll find flavorful food from a variety of cuisines to fulfill the inner foodie in you.

When you’re finished eating make your way to the Riverfront Trail. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River while taking in the stunning scenery.
