Christmas at the Glenn House

Step back in time this holiday with a visit to the Glenn House. From original architectural features to historical plumbing fixtures and wall treatments, this Victorian home will inspire wonder and Christmas joy. Aside from the festive decorations, the rooms appear as they did in the twentieth country,

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Glenn House was built in 1883 with the David Glenn family living there until 1915. Today, the home helps educate visitors along with cultivating curiosity for the past.

Every year, from Thanksgiving weekend through the month of December, the home springs to life as festive decorations cascade throughout the halls. Anyone is welcome to tour on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m., with additional candlelight tour dates being December 6th from 5-8 p.m. and December 14th from 5-8 p.m.

Afterwards, linger a bit with a cup of cider and a handful of cookies in the carriage house, listing your favorite holiday displays. The incredible attention to detail will give you plenty to discuss.

Glenn House Christmas tours have been an annual tradition since the 1980s, and once you walk through, you’ll understand why the event has lasted nearly 40 years. Have you visited in a previous year? The decorations and theme are new each holiday season – you’ll never see the same Christmas tree twice at the Glenn House.
