Weekend Round Up: Friday March 28, Saturday March 29, Sunday March 30

We’ve rounded up what’s happening in Cape Girardeau on this last weekend in March!

Almost Maine is playing at the River Campus Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is comprised of 9 short plays exploring love and loss in a mythical town.

The Cape Girardeau Roller Girls have their first competitive bout of 2014 against the Mo-Kan Roller Girlz Saturday night at the Arena Building!  Main event starts at 6:30.  Tickets are $9 at the door and a portion of ticket sales will benefit Southeast Hospice.

Have some laughs at the Show Me Center on Saturday night with Rickey Smiley and Friends.  Rickey Smiley has established himself as a clean comic with down home southern humor.

Live Entertainment at the Lone Wolf, inside Isle Casino Cape Girardeau takes place Friday and Saturday nights! Black Diamond plays rock on Friday, and Push the Limit plays pop and rock on Saturday.  Both shows start at 8 p.m. and wrap up at 1 a.m., and they’re free.

Mark Sparks is the St. Louis Symphony’s principal flutist, and he’ll perform at Sundays at 3 at the River Campus to celebrate the release of his newest CD.

The following attractions are also open this weekend:

Arena Golf

Bollinger Mill

Crisp Museum

Discovery Playhouse

Fort D

Lazy L Safari Park

LeBounce

Orange Monkey (they have a brand new indoor climbing wall!)

Cape River Heritage Museum

Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center
