It’s your second official weekend of summer, and here is some of the fun happening in Cape Girardeau!
Nunsense is still running throughout the weekend, and everyone who’s been to see it only has the best things to say. It’s the last weekend to see it, so grab those tickets today! We had a chance to see the final dress rehearsal, you see what we thought here.
Sensory Safari is happening at Lazy L Safari Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. – noon. This event is set up for specially abled kids, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst will be on hand to assist zoo staff. The facility is wheelchair and handicapped accessible, and little ones can get up close and personal with some of the animals at the zoo and touch and feel biofacts such as antlers, eggs, quills and more.
Get your veggies and fruit from the folks who picked them that morning and a good dose of community fun at the Cape Riverfront Market, Saturday morning from 8 a.m. – noon.
Learn all the basics of Dutch oven cooking while you celebrate the Great American Backyard Campout at Bollinger Mill on Saturday from 10 – 11 a.m.
