Did you know that St. Francis of Assisi staged the very first Nativity scene in 1223? After visiting the actual birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem, he returned home to Greccio, Italy and requested permission from Pope Honorius III to recreate the scene so that more could understand how it all began.
Saint Francis Healthcare System will recreate the scene of Jesus’ birth with its first outdoor Live Nativity. Come and experience the true reason for the season on Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21 from 5:30-8 pm on both nights. Invite your neighbors, friends and family to witness this truly special event.
