Fall is in the air and Homecoming is almost here; revisit your favorite college haunts and discover what’s new in Cape Girardeau this Homecoming weekend!

Southeast Missouri State University has a weekend full of Redhawks festivities planned, including an all alumni breakfast, the Homecoming parade, tours of Academic’s refurbished dome and a football game.  In between the on campus fun, check out these tried-and-true collegiate favorites that are still rocking and rolling in Cape Girardeau:

The Pilot House is still serving up barbeque; the famous Tank sandwich is waiting for you! Grab a brew at D’Ladiums before the football game, just like you did back then.  The only thing that’s changed is a “D” replaced the “P” of the former P’Ladium.  If pizza is more your speed, Pagliai’s continues to serve up New York Style pies, and the Ms. Pacman machine is still there!  The same super sized burritos are on the menu at Burritoville, now with a patio perfect for Homecoming festivities and frozen Margaritas.   

There’s lots of fun new things to do and eat in Cape Girardeau since you called Towers dorm home!  Minglewood is a local brew house and pizza joint located on Broadway, and its the perfect spot for an after-parade lunch.  The Cape Riverfront Market is Cape’s downtown farmer’s market with breakfast, local produce and baked goods, live music and more, and it will be rocking and rolling from 8 a.m. – Noon on Saturday, October 17.
