National Vanilla Ice Cream Day is today, and Cape Girardeau doesn’t limit the celebrations to just humans…four-legged friends get in on the fun too! Mississippi Mutts, a local pet store and bakery, is having vanilla pupcake sundaes this Saturday, July 26th, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Your four-legged friends can enjoy a frosty handmade biscuit shell filled with frozen vanilla greek yogurt and sundae toppings. Owner Sherry Jennings says that “we’re celebrating National Vanilla Ice Cream Day because we know dogs love ice cream, but yogurt is better for them.”
