It’s the First Day of Spring!

It’s the first day of spring! Bring the season indoors with some fresh blooms from one of Cape’s finest flower shops. These are just few of the choices for fresh, local décor. Check out a full local shopping guide on the VisitCape website.

D Duncan Floristry & Boutique is a floral studio and gift boutique in the old Broadway Biergarten. Inside, you’ll find not only an interactive fresh “floral bar” where you can schedule time to design your own beautiful blooms with a group while enjoying a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail. The shop is always beautifully decorated each season and full of items including apparel, home decor, specialty gift items, and signature candles.

Parwick Designs by Tatianna Parham is offering a new service to Cape by creating “hampers” full of florals, a candle, a sweet treat or other items all packaged together. On the Facebook page, you can see a flower “cake” and even flowers attached to a wine bottle for a special gift.

Known as one of the most unique shops in town, Annie Laurie’s Antiques also offers fresh flowers! True to their motto “expect the unexpected,” the antique vases holding the buds are one of a kind and unexpected. They offer grab and go bouquets if you want to have something the same day, as well as a selection of houseplants.

Of course, spring is also a great time to get outdoors to immerse yourself in the sunlight and crisp temperatures and see some native plants and flowers along the route! For ideas, click on the VisitCape Outdoors Guide on our website to start planning!
