Rain or shine, discover nature at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center this Fall!  

Kiddos can walk through a beaver dam, make rubbings of animal tracks and match the (fake) scat with the critter at the Nature Center, which also features a scientific research laboratory, freshwater aquariums, indoor wildlife viewing areas and more.  Hands-on exhibits for all ages ensure a fun day for everyone.  

Head outside after checking out a free fishing rod and bait, where your little ones can cast a line in the kids-only fishing pond.  You can also check out a free themed hiking backpack full of activities to entertain on a hike on the White Oak Trace trail system surrounding the Nature Center.

The Nature Center’s calendar is jam-packed with programs for all ages and interests; Feeding Frenzy and Missouri’s Elk are coming up in the next few weeks.
