Day Date

If your schedule frees you up in the morning, try a day date on for size. Sunday brunch at Gabriel’s on Main Street in Downtown Cape Girardeau sets you up for a leisurely few hours of excellent coffee and a small, curated menu of seasonal brunch items much better than anything you could recreate at home, like Tiramisu French Toast and a Truffle Quiche. Date Night for Active Couples

Not a dinner and a movie kind of couple? Spend an evening with your favorite someone bouncing at Ultimate Air Trampoline Park, with thousands of square feet of trampolines, a foam pit and hours of fun. Stop at Sandy’s at the Cape Airport for pie after your jump session. Or, reserve a time slot at Escape Cape; new rooms to solve include American Holiday, Casino Heist and Extermination. 

DIY Date Night with Dessert

Make a piece of art with your significant other at Board & Brush in downtown Cape Girardeau where you can create a one-of-a-kind wooden sign. All supplies are provided in this creative space, and events include Sangria Saturday. After you clean out your paint brushes, take a short walk down Main Street and share a banana split inside Sugar Chic Creamery. 

Dinner and a Show

It’s a tried and true formula for a reason. Grab dinner at one of Cape Girardeau’s fine dining establishments and follow it up with a show at the River Campus (see what’s coming up here), or take in a movie at the newly upgraded theater, now with recliners and a bar.
