Cape’s Taco Trail

You have permission to have tacos any day of the week, not just Taco Tuesdays!

We’ve rounded up a sampling of local taco favorites. These three also have amazing outdoor patios to enjoy your tacos, burritos, margaritas….

For a full list of Cape restaurants, don’t forget to check out VisitCape’s Dining Guide!

Located along Broadway across from Houck Stadium, El Sol has a great outdoor (but covered) patio, bar area, main dining room and even banquet room available for rental. Of course, they have a massive menu of typical Mexican favorites, but specific to tacos, we recommend these: “Mexican Tacos” with your choice of meat, cilantro, onions and green sauce; or “Taco Locos Queso” which means your taco “shell” is a fried cheese shell!

Muy Bueno is a locally owned family Mexican restaurant that even offers a family meal so you can get tacos to-go! Their menu is extensive, offering 13 different taco options alone! For something different, try the chorizo (spicy pork sausage), lengua (beef tongue) or a vegetarian option rajas (roasted poblano). Or, mix it up and order a variety to taste!

Feeling loco? Then get to Seis Amigos for their “Tacos Loco” with chicken or maybe the “Tacos Al Pastor” are calling your name with pork, pineapple, cilantro and onions! Street tacos are always a great idea! And at Seis Amigos, you can get them with barbacoa, carne asada, pork carnitas, chicken, shrimp or fish! What a selection!

 Ole!
