Avengers Assemble! It’s time for one of Cape’s newest annual events. Cape Comic Con 2020 is almost here!

July 10-12 comic lovers from all over the area will gather at the Osage Center to get their comic-frenzied fix filled. The weekend is complete with a costume contest, vendors of varying creations and special guests that are sure to excite.

Founder Ken Murphy had this to say about this thrilling weekend, “My goal was to create an annual tradition where our community would gather and celebrate its passion for creativity.”
And that is exactly what Cape Comic Con does!

Costume Contest
If you’re anything like us, you look for any excuse to get dressed up in a fun costume. Perhaps it’s your favorite character from a comic, tv show, or movie, or maybe it’s an entertainer you’re obsessed with. Whatever your choice, you can wear it at Cape Comic Con 2020 and maybe even win a little cash for it.

If you enter the contest, know there are a few rules you’ll need to make sure your outfit follows.

There is a $15 entry fee, but if your costume is deemed the winner, you could walk away with the $200 grand prize! That’s exciting stuff!

Vendors
If you’re more inclined to do a bit of shopping, you have to check out the vendors that will be there. Authors, artisans, collectibles vendors, tasty treat makers and more will be there to sell you the best of the best. If you have a friend or family member that would love comic book-themed items, you’ll find the perfect present here!
