Can you believe another decade has gone by? Here at VisitCape, we’re wondering if the next ten years will be as iconic as the Roaring Twenties. Only time will tell.

St. Jude New Year’s Eve Benefit
This marks the 10th year for the annual St. Jude’s benefit, so you know it’s a party you shouldn’t miss! Hosted at the new Drury Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, you can dance the night away and crash without worry in a luxurious room. The Southerner will be catering their highly revered meals and locally acclaimed music group, The Intention, will be performing live! There is no theme (but we encourage attire worthy of the decade). And if you couldn’t tell from the name, this benefit supports childhood cancer research. It’s a great way to start 2020 on a positive note!
Groove into 2020 at the Isle Casino
If you’re looking for a retro celebration, then don’t miss the party over at the Casino. Throw it back to the 70s and wear your favorite bell bottoms, platform shoes, and, shall we say, loud shirt! If you really want to be stylin’, grab a wig to complete the look. The fun starts at 12:00 p.m. and continues well into the early hours of 2020. Be there or be square.
If none of these shindigs strike your fancy, you’re sure to find something around Cape Girardeau. Several lounges and bars will have additional NYE events, with many offering live music and exclusive cocktails.
