Description:

There is more to the skies than just star gazing. This event will help you understand the science behind the Great American Eclipse. You will not want to miss this opportunity to learn more about the science and wonder behind this natural phenomenon you will experience on August 21. The presenters will also discuss their research and the opportunities available for undergraduate students to learn more about astronomy.
Presented by: Dr. Margaret Hill, Professor of Physics, Southeast Missouri State University and Dr. Phill Reed, Associate Professor of Physics & Astronomy, and Director of the Planetarium and Observatory at Kutztown University. Free and open to everyone!
