The Arts Council
The Arts Council of Cape Girardeau presents more than 130 activities and events annually including two annual arts and crafts festivals, children's art festival, three multi-state/nationally juried shows, art exhibitions in three galleries vetting 50-100 artists or more each month, as well as special events for young and old such as concerts, poetry competitions, events for those with special needs and community outreach. Serving 11 counties from its headquarters at #32 N. Main near the fabulous Riverwall Murals in Cape Girardeau, the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri is the oldest in the state of Missouri. First Friday
Aartful Rose, Art Gallery at the Crisp Museum, Art Council of Southeast Missouri and Visual Arts Co-Op, Black Door Gallery, Edward Bernard Gallery, Eustis Studios, Garden Gallery,O'Tenem Gallery, and The Artist Studio are all open from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the First Friday of every month.
